That’s the working title for the paper that Deven and I are working on. I would be interested in talking to some folks in the 3D Printer Software Open-Source community, if anyone is willing to chat.

No problem talking. I was on the core team of the REPRAP project which designed and built the original personal 3D printers from 2005 to 2011 when the project met its goal of reducing the entry price for a 3D printer from $40,000 to $500. I’m still doing a lot of 3D printer work, but have gone on to other disruptive technology projects using the development model that we perfected in the REPRAP project.
