Tell me, how long, how long

So you sent out a regular article in the general submission process to mainstream law reviews this season or last (not an essay, a short symposium piece, a sidebar piece, a reply, a book review). How many pages was it? (If you sent out more than one of different lengths, you can select more than one option).

I think asking about word count would be more informative.

To follow Jennifer’s point, my 39 page manuscript had just over 20,000 words.

I went back and forth, and finally decided to go with page count. I think (just based on casual observation) that there’s a significant contingent of luddites who don’t count words, and I wanted to include them in the poll as well. But yes, there’s a significant amount of variation in pages depending on spacing and the like.
