What bothers me about this picture is that the pennies on the table are stacked. So it looks like there’s been tiny nibbles taken away. If the pennies weren’t stacked up, then the bites would seem bigger. The percentage cut would be the same obviously, but the point of the picture is to make a graphic representation, and taking pictures of stacks of pennies from an aerial view is misleading, I think.

Clever, but procrustean. Depending on just what portion of just what Obama press conference you wish to crib from, the figure from Obama can be as much as $100 Billion. Wit a “B”, boy. Add to that several trillion dollars over the next decade being cut from the budget. So, nice try at pulling the clothes off the emperor, but no, as they say, cigar.
