I pay 5,000 a year for individual insurance and all I get is hospital catastrophic coverage--if you get hit by a bus or have a heart attack. Anything else, regular doctor&#039;s visits, treatment for anything that doesn&#039;t involve a hospital stay, is on you. And I can&#039;t ever drop this crappy coverage because I might not be able to get even that ever again. McCain&#039;s &quot;plan&quot; is utter crap. The OP demonstrates that, as does my own personal experience.
