And that is the problem with McCain's 5,000 tax credit. I pay 5,000 a year for individual insurance and all I get is hospital catastrophic coverage--if you get hit by a bus or have a heart attack. Anything else, regular doctor's visits, treatment for anything that doesn't involve a hospital stay, is on you. And I can't ever drop this crappy coverage because I might not be able to get even that ever again. McCain's "plan" is utter crap. The OP demonstrates that, as does my own personal experience.
