		<description>Scary stuff. Unchecked, I only see a rapid rise in social darwinism, even eugenics. And unchecked it will be since it&#039;s nearly impossible to secure this kind of information in massive databases. This is one of the biggest ethical problems our society will face as the technology advances. And, it&#039;s a global issue. Even if the US has a national health program and somehow manages to successfully handle al of this highly personal information, one may wish to visit or relocate a country that is less protective of DNA privacy rights.
