The guy who admits to have seduced somebody else's wife, and broken up their marriage, is just assumed to be the one telling the truth. Yeah, maybe he lost his reputation. Maybe he lost a <i>false</i> reputation for being a decent human being... We don't know, and no reporter is going to raise a finger to find out.
