Not only is there no one court to focus on, but it's a statutory field not a common law field. More fun to teach Holmes and Cardozo than the Model Penal Code, I think. (Although I also get to teach Crim Pro, which is all Supreme Court opinions, so no complaints here.) It’s even harder to teach criminal law.
