Isn't the real point in PV and FV in tax the impact on deferral of tax? That is, when you defer income or do not recognize gain, you defer the tax, and the FV of that deferral is what is worth so much money. Isn’t the real point in PV and FV in tax the impact on deferral of tax? That is, when you defer income or do not recognize gain, you defer the tax, and the FV of that deferral is what is worth so much money.
