Dave, I don&#039;t think that your preference for Expresso is &quot;command and control&quot; thinking at all.  It&#039;s much easier to go to Expresso, upload the document once, and just click boxes for submission than it is to go to 50 different websites to upload your article.  I think that from an author&#039;s perspective, Expresso saves a lot of time.

Here&#039;s the part that seems to be missing - what are the advantages / disadvantages to the law reviews of Expresso versus submission on their individual website?
