I wouldn’t mind getting some myself. At the moment, I just jealously watch as colleagues’ mailboxes fill to overflowing. But as a brand new hire, I seem not to be on anyone’s mailing lists — yet.

I know it’s common these days to criticize the mailings from law schools. But I actually find that stuff rather useful. I like to know who’s joining faculties, who’s publishing, and who’s speaking. I enjoy getting reprints and often skim them, if they’re in my area. Some times I will have already read the article, if it’s in my area of research interest, but often I won’t have seen it before. Am I alone here?
